Taxi in Cairo ( 3 types )

If you want to use Taxi in Cairo , there was 3 types of Taxi:

First : Black and white Taxi ( oldest one ) It is don't use counter to calculate the distance , and if you want to use it you must agree with him ( how much will you pay to the place which you want to go there) ,  and if he say "any thing you will pay I will accept" , (you have to define the price - Value - before use it , in order to not have any problem when you arrive to your distance .

Second : White Taxi ( New one )
It is use counter to calculate the distance , and if you want to use it just make sure that he turn his counter on when you enter it ( I prefer to use it to anywhere).
it is belong to private persons.

Third : Yellow Taxi ( Capital Taxi)
You can use it just to call it by phone but it is much expensive than the above types, It belong to one company which control all cars.

Metro Cairo Line 2 (Shoubra El Khaima - El Monieb)

The second line of Cairo Metro

Which runs between stations (Shubra El-Khaimah) in the north (Qaliubiya Governorate) and (Munib) in the south (Giza Governorate), It's intersect with the first line in stations ( Ramses "Al Sohdaa" , and AL Tahreir " Sadat") , also it cross the River Nile under the subheading Nile region of the island (Opera station), and it's trains going on top speed of 80 km / h and time between trains about 1.5 -2 minutes , noting that the arrange of it's stations from North to South as follow:

Metro Cairo Line 1 (Helwan - El Marg)

 

The First Line of Cairo Metro is the longest one , With length 44.3 km , which runs between stations ( Helwan in South and Al Marg El Gadida in the North) .

It's intersect with the second line in station ( Ramses"Al Shohdaa" , and AL Tahrer " Sadat") , the arrange of it's stations as follow:

The Metro in Cairo is the most important,fastest and safest means of transportation inside Cairo, where away from crowd roads, which has become a daily problem in Egypt, it also features a cheap cost is spread over long distances with the same fees for passenger (one LE Egypt), is also characterized by the possibility of change lines without the need to change Ticket and free of movement among different lines; the first line has been establishment and second-line are being carried out , they are working in third-line now which will end in 2011 , a fourth line under study and draft, and we will learn on each line in detail with reference to another subject to each station of the different metro stations and proximity to tourist sites and the important places in Egypt , and I will do a theme for each station on the unit , to clarify the hotels and tourist sites and places of interest which will I find associated with this station or close to it , while continuing to include any new location may be referenced in your comments, to simplify the process of research and travel in Egypt.
